Further to the previous post about the Woking Electoral Review and proposed changes to the Ward Boundarys, Woking Council have reviewed the feedback they received during the consultation period. They have now revised their proposed changes to the Ward Boundarys however the latest proposal would still divide West Byfleet, with some residents falling into a new Byfleets Ward and some into the Pyrford Ward.

On the 29th of March a letter from Godfrey Chapples the Chairman of the Byfleet, West Byfleet & Pyrford Residents Association was sent to the Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) to express concerns about the proposed changes and how it will affect the communitys. The West Byfleet Neighbourhood Forum have also written to the LGBCE to say we endorse the views of this letter.
