UPDATE – Information about whats going on in the area

  • Update information on the Green Belt Review  July 2016
“The Local Development Framework Working Group met on 1 July to consider the
responses received on the Site Allocations DPD consultation which was
undertaken last year. In view of the weighty public response, the Working
Group has asked officers to conduct some further assessments before deciding
what final recommendations it should make to Council on the way forward.
This being the case, the Council meeting scheduled for 28 July 2016 has been
cancelled and a new date will be set for Council to consider the matter in
the Autumn of 2016.”More details may be found on the WBC website

We have been informed by Stephen Tillman,a  director of Altitude, that design number 1 of the 3 put forward by Altitude is the preferred layout as voted by residents.
Members of the Forum committee, who have  met with Stephen this week ,  have voiced concern about the height of the marker building and also the position  of this  building along the Old Woking Road.
